Maine Energy, Inc. is the oldest energy company in Bangor to be owned and operated by its founding family. In 1926 the company began distributing coal throughout the state of Maine. As heating requirements changed, Maine Energy, Inc. responded by diversifying its products and services to meet market demands. Today, over 65 years later, Maine Energy, Inc. employs over 50 personnel and maintains a large fleet of service, delivery and installation vehicles to support its mechanical contracting and fuel divisions.

For over 25 years the mechanical contracting division has provided excellence in design and installation of plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in Maine. Completed projects range from airport terminals to condominiums, from jails to hospitals and from schools to military facilities with project values up to $12,000,000.
